Tea House the Minimalist Design
This early idea of the architectural projects was to make a tree house and it came when the owner and his daughter exploring the hills around their house in Silicon Valley. Years after that, the projects are realized and designed by Swatt Miers Architects as three tea houses, where someone can take a retreat, enjoy, relax and find some peace in mind.

Each house is made of steel and transparant glass pavilion, and they look floating by using a concrete core elements as a base that holds steel cantilever to support the overal floor and building. Large glass facades in most parts of the house bring through the beautiful hill view and its surround inside.

Each tea house is designed with its own function. The 'meditation' tea house has the area of 270 square feet and build under an oak tree. The 'sleeping' tea house has the area of 372 square feet and has a skylit bathroom. And the biggest tea house with an area of 492 square feet, the 'visioning' is made with the function for getting a creative thinking and an intimate gatherings.
